Severance Pay Formula (퇴직금 산정 공식)
Severance = Avg. Daily Wage × 30 × (Service Days / 365)
- Average Daily Wage = Total wages for last 3 months / Total calendar days for last 3 months
- Simplified: Monthly wage / 30.4 days
- Include: base salary, fixed bonuses, fixed allowances
- Exclude: overtime pay, variable bonuses, severance itself
- Minimum 1 year of continuous service required (근로기준법 제34조)
